Why we formed ShieldWith AI
The founders spent years inside enterprise SOCs and MSSP delivery — watching capable tools drown in unreviewed alerts while smaller clients were told to "turn on AI" and hope. ShieldWith AI was incorporated to close that gap: managed detection with honest scope, Canadian data handling and analysts who answer the phone when something matters.
We are not a venture-backed platform play. We are a professional services firm focused on MDR, monitoring and response for organizations across British Columbia and Canada more broadly. Our studio on Hamilton Street is where analysts work shifts, tune detection and brief clients — not a virtual address on a sales deck.
ShieldWith AI Inc. is registered in Canada (BN 640 927 158 RC0001). Client data is processed under written agreements aligned to PIPEDA. We do not sell consumer security products, insurance or online courses.

Business hours for account and scoping enquiries are Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 Pacific Time. SOC monitoring operates 24/7 for active retainer clients.

Our SOC floor mixes experienced security operators, detection engineers and client liaisons — people who have carried pagers before and know the difference between a tool alert and an incident. Shift handoffs are documented; escalation paths are tested quarterly. We invest in ongoing training on cloud identity threats, BEC patterns affecting Canadian finance teams and the limits of automated correlation.
ShieldWith AI is deliberately small enough that clients know their liaison by name. We are large enough to cover nights and weekends. That balance matters when you are deciding who should hold keys to your telemetry. We publish no fabricated headcount claims — ask us directly about current analyst coverage during your scoping call.
We participate in regional infosec community events in British Columbia but do not sponsor fear-based marketing campaigns. Our reputation rests on verified escalations and honest scope documents, not conference swag or breach lottery statistics.
